Oct. 4 2006 Station 18 had its first annual Community Fire Prevention – Open House in our new building. Residents were invited in to tour the new building. There was information available on home safety and free smoke detectors were handed out for there homes. Residents were able to talk to Firefighters and take a look at the Emergency Vehicles and the firefighting equipment that is available to protect them and the residents of surrounding communities. Milmont Sta. 49 ladder truck was also on display as well as Rutledge St. 13.
