220 Willowbrook Ave, CO Alarm

On January 23rd 2020, at 22:15 hrs, Station 18 Folsom Fire Company was dispatched to 220 Willowbrook Ave for a reported CO alarm. Upon the arrival of ENG 18 the crew found a reading of 21ppm and climbing by the hot water heater, PECO was requested and red tagged the hot water heater, and the gas was shut off. The dwelling was ventilated by natural ventilation, the company was inservice for 1 hrs and 13 minutes under the command of Deputy Chief Scott Kreamer.
